Anderson, Coe & King, LLP, is pleased to announce that Kristina Miller has been named a partner of the firm.
Kristina Miller focuses her civil litigation defense practice in the areas of professional liability, medical malpractice, and personal injury claims. She primarily represents health care providers, including physicians, nurses, physician assistants, mental health professionals, hospitals, and other medical groups, as well as corporations and non-profit entities. Kristina has experience litigating matters involving wrongful death, severe personal injury, surgical complications, misdiagnosis, and other complex litigation matters in federal and state court.
Kristina received her law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she completed the Certificate in Health Law and served as an associate editor for the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy. She received the Joseph Bernstein Award for most significant student contribution to the Journal regarding her published article on pharmaceutical marketing. She also litigated cases involving asylum, criminal convictions, and deportation orders before the Baltimore Immigration Court. Kristina completed internships with Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera and the Honorable Lynne Battaglia on the Court of Appeals, as well as Judge Charles Peters of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Following graduation, Kristina served as a law clerk to Judge Nancy Purpura of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
